BAP
Leah has started Bapping when she is cross (complete with dismissive arm gesture like a 14 year old!)
All she wanted for her birthday and Christmas was a sticker book, and she got about a million of them from various people. She also wanted a pink cake with sprinkles and a fairy on top, but was happy enough with Holly Hedgehog. Her birthday tea was macaroni "Quite good mummy - but Grannies is nicer".... She was delighted to go to the Singing Kettle on Christmas Eve and has been singing the songs ever since. She is also very partial to Mr Blue Sky....although she loves getting the words wrong and singing "cloud in the pie" instead of "sky". She sings and sings all day long.
Her playgroup concert actually saw her get stage fright - all the actions happened but no words came out. She made up for it before and after by being word perfect and reciting all the songs in the car all the time. She kept the playleader Heather right by telling her (with finger waggle) which song came next. When Santa came she was the first to rush up and our hearts sank, but she only wanted to help hand out the presents!
She loves colouring and writing letters to everyone with stickers on them, and covering our floor in paper for her pretend puppies. She has pretend everything - including a friend called Ellie Elisabeth who goes to work at a bookshop in Edinburgh, is six, and doesn't like dogs!
She was a wee star on the car journey to Somerset and did her stickers for HOURS on end - we even did the 9 hour journey back in one stretch. She was only upset that she didn't get a bath at 10pm at the end of it!
She is a bix mixed up about todays and tomorrows and howls if you tell her something is tomorrow (but it's ok if it's "after her sleep")
She thinks everything is FANTASTIC and lovely lovely and she is wonderfully enthusiastic about life!
